Iron Circus Comics carries Worst Journey as both a beautiful hardcover edition and a PDF e-book. A much fancier e-book is coming later, but for now this one reproduces everything in the hard copy but in a convenient electronic form, for half the price.

If you are in the US, you can order it direct from Iron Circus, at online retailers such as Bookshop.org, or any independent bookshop. If you are not in the US but wish to acquire a US edition, please try ordering it from an independent bookshop which will ship overseas. Powell’s, Weller Book Works, and Silver Sprocket may be a starting place, but I’m sure many smaller establishments would be grateful for your business.

ELSEWHERE

In New Zealand, the vendor for Worst Journey (UK edition) is the noble and august Antarctic Heritage Trust. Order directly from them, or get your local indie bookshop in touch with them to stock a few copies.

Ireland can get their polar comics fix via Little Deer Comics in Dublin. Order to deliver or collect in person. They can also ship to the rest of the EU.

The German edition, Die Schlimmste Reise der Welt, is published by Panini and available to order from all bookshops, or from the big online retailers like Dussmann, Thalia, and (if you absolutely must), Amazon.de. It’s BD-sized and available throughout the EU, but is, of course, in German. This edition is blessed with much bigger pictures, but much reduced annotations; you can find the full German translation of the Annotations at worstjourney.com/deutsch.

In Norway, both the UK and German editions are available from the Fram Museum.
